We are looking for an experienced Process Quality Engineer for our manufacturing partner with an international background, operating in a location close to Budapest.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Support the organization with quality management methods that help reduce risks and prevent errors
• Initiate and lead 8D projects (problem solving, development) throughout the organization, drive inspections with stakeholders
• Supervise process and product certification tasks
• Coordinate the monitoring of (re-qualification) production and tests
• Prepare production control plans
• Operate the SPC process
• Conduct and support audits
• Prepare data analyses and reports about key process indicators
• Develop engineering assets to improve production processes or develop new processes to boost quality and efficiency

Required competencies:

• A college or university degree
• Three to five years’ experience in a similar position
• High-level project management skills
• Knowledge of problem-solving and root analysis methods
• An understanding of FMEA and control plans
• SAP, Minitab, Q-Das and MS Office user skills
• Familiarity with SPC and MSA
• Insight into the ISO 9001 standard
• Technical and general creativity and the desire to innovate
• An open yet focused mind and a strategic approach to solving problems
• Intermediate verbal and written English skills
