Education: Doctorate degree or Master degree and 5 years of Scientific experience or Bachelor degree and 6 years of Scientific experience. Attributes (i.e. - preferred qualifications): Life Sciences and/or Engineering (statistics, operations research, mathematics, systems engineering, industrial engineering) Relevant work experience in data analysis or related field (eg as a statistician, data scientist, computational biologist, bioinformatician) Work with large, complex data sets. Solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced analytical methods as needed. Conduct end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specifications, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables, and presentations Experience with statistical software (e.g. R, MATLAB, SAS, Jump, Minitab) and database languages (e.g. SQL) Experience with statistical data analysis such as linear models, multivariate analysis, and stochastic models Experience articulating business questions and using mathematical techniques to arrive at an answer using available data Demonstrated skills in selecting the right statistical tools given a data analysis problem Data system knowledge – OSIsoft PI / Spotfire/ OVDAS Job Types: Contract, Full-time Pay: $42.00 - $45.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Overtime Work Location: Hybrid remote in Juncos, PR 00777
