Primary Services is actively recruiting for a Process Improvement & Operations Specialist to support a high-impact client in the energy sector. In this role, you will work across cross-functional teams to manage projects, streamline operations, and enhance business capabilities. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who are analytical, results-driven, and comfortable navigating both technical tools and strategic discussions.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Non-Commodity Operations and VPP/Demand Response processes.
  • Deliver status updates and performance reports to stakeholders.
  • Monitor key operational metrics and recommend actions to maintain service levels.
  • Diagnose process issues, identify root causes, and implement improvements.
  • Evaluate and document current operational workflows and system controls.
  • Develop business requirements and approach documentation for new capabilities and enhancements.
  • Lead and execute User Acceptance Testing for new tools and processes.
  • Facilitate team discussions to define timelines and priorities for campaigns and new product rollouts.
  • Design and manage process and database solutions to support operational growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners to deliver enhancements and production fixes.


Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of professional experience required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in operations, IT, project management, or consulting preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Power BI, and MS Project.
  • Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or SaaS tools for data analysis and scripting.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and leverage operational data.
  • Familiarity with user testing, campaign support, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Working knowledge of process improvement methodologies and documentation standards.
