We are looking for a Process Engineer who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and innovative to join our Sterile Manufacturing department, based at our UCB campus in Braine, Belgium.
About The Role
As a Process Engineer, you will be the user representative for projects and/or the project leader within the department, ensuring knowledge management across production activities. You will support and coordinate projects in the Sterile Manufacturing Plant, maintaining compliance with cGMP guidelines and UCB procedures.
Who You Will Work With
You will collaborate closely with the UCB community, including Production, Engineering, MSAT, Quality, and HSE teams, to facilitate and accelerate manufacturing process transfers and projects.
What You Will Do
- Support and coordinate projects in the Sterile Manufacturing Plant.
- Write, review, and approve cGMP documents for operations.
- Maintain knowledge of sterile manufacturing activities.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and equipment investigations.
- Lead investigations, manage deviations, and implement CAPA for process issues.
Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills
- Master’s degree in Bioengineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of GMP requirements for sterile product development and manufacturing.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed and dynamic environment.
- Strong project management skills and safety-minded approach.
