At Between, we're reinforcing the engineering team of one of our key clients in Malaysia. We're looking for 2 experienced Process Engineers, ideally with strong expertise in sheet metal and/or assembly processes.

What’s the setup?

• One position will be hired directly by the client.
• The second position will be part of the Between team (as a Betweener), working on-site and fully embedded in the client’s operations, under a 2-year assignment.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and optimize production processes (from zero to mass production)
• Improve quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
• Analyze data and simulations to drive continuous improvement
• Draft and update SOPs, workflows, and risk assessments
• Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams
• Provide training and support to local teams
• Occasional travel to suppliers/customers may be required
  
  

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years' experience in metal fabrication (bending and/or assembly)
• Strong communication in English and Malay
• Mandarin is a plus.
• Autonomous, proactive, and solution-oriented – especially important for our role in Malaysia
