Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineer with expertise in Mechanical Process Manufacturing for construction equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process engineering and optimization, as well as experience in designing and implementing mechanical processes for manufacturing heavy equipment, such as excavators, loaders, and bulldozers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and implement mechanical processes for manufacturing construction equipment
• Evaluate and optimize existing manufacturing processes for quality and efficiency improvement
• Develop and maintain manufacturing process documentation, including process flow diagrams, process instructions, and work procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality assurance, production, and maintenance, to ensure that manufacturing processes are optimized for quality, cost, and throughput
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical process issues to minimize downtime and improve production yield
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to improve product quality and reduce costs
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing process engineering.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 4-6 years of experience in mechanical process manufacturing for heavy equipment, such as excavators, loaders, and bulldozers
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and materials
• Familiar with tooling is an added adavantage
• Should have exposure to CNC, VMC and HMC programming.
• Experience with 3 D CAD Modeling software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
