Summary

Deceuninck North America is seeking a Process Engineer for its Monroe, OH facility. In this role, the Process Engineer is responsible for the constant review of the manufacturing processes to identify Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunities that will result in increased efficiency, cost savings or customer satisfaction through measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPI). The Process Engineer will also need to have superior communication / presentation skills and the ability to facilitate cross-functional teams from project concept through execution.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative style of leadership when working through all phases of the project life cycle.
  • Capable of acquiring buy-in from leaders and shop floor
  • Oversees end-to-end project management activities for large, complex, strategic initiatives that create value to the business, higher performing facilities, healthier and more productive work environments, sustainable footprints, and drive lower operational costs.
  • Participate in the CAPEX budget process for DNA, together with the finance and maintenance team, prepares CAPEX budgets for future year(s).
  • Manages contingencies between multiple projects and monitors interdependencies and synergies where required.
  • Secures, leads, motivates, and inspires the internal and external resources required to effectively deliver programs and projects.
  • Establishes governance (e.g., sponsors, approvers, stakeholders) structures and leads the evaluation, selection, and management of external resources or vendors.
  • Communicates project plans, status, and risks to key stakeholders via various communication methods
  • With input from key stakeholder groups and internal customers, leads the development and updating of the capital plan that aligns with departmental strategic plans and business priorities.
  • Leads status meetings for programs and projects with department leads and internal customers.
  • Facilitates risk mitigation and resolution of highly complex issues.
  • Is data driven, providing thought leadership into the development of systems, tools, reports, and key metrics (budget to actual, on-time performance, cost, and productivity) that will improve the team’s ability to gather business insights in order to develop and drive strategies, solutions and manage performance more effectively against goals.
  • Leverages strategic relationships to influence at all levels of the organization. Liaises with business units and collaborates with stakeholders to develop and implement consensual decisions.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of strong engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience leading individuals and/or departments
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong project management skills and tools
  • Lean Green Belt or Black Belt Highly desired
  • Prior experience working with vendors / contractors related to building renovations, capital equipment purchase / installations, decommissioning equipment
  • Experience managing expense budgets and controlling project costs
  • Ability to read engineering drawings is a differentiator


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or similar
