Job Description
Based at our production site in Minerbio (Bologna area), you will be part of a team of three process engineers and will report to the Process Engineer Supervisor.
The Process Engineer will be primarily responsible for process designs, improvements, and engineering support for capital projects.
Responsibilities
Main Tasks:
- Provide Process Technology input to the development and implementation of programs to achieve best in class performance in safety and quality of products and service in the Plant and Division.
- Input in day to day investigations, heavy involvement for larger systemic issues for problem, yield and defective production issues.
- Lead new product/formula introductions for new technologies and assist production role for transfers and similar technologies as required.
- Lead and participate in the development of best-in-class processes and practices for plant and divisional applications. Implement global process engineering design for manufacturing standardization of new technologies.
- Responsible for implementing Design Engineering Standards for process best Practices.
- Develop economic studies and evaluations of existing and proposed processes.
- Identify and implement improvements,
- Provide recommendations and work within teams to achieve continuous improvement for improved safety, improved quality, better service, lower costs, and improved yields.
- Support facility engineers with process design for capital projects.
- Provide process technology input in the form of technology packages as the basis of capital investments
Qualifications
- Engineering degree, preferred Chemical engineering,
- A working knowledge of the relevant country's Health and Safety legislation is required. You will receive specific training thereafter.
- Continuous Improvement and Change Management skills.
- Project Management Skills,
- Strong communication skills and assertiveness are essential.
