Metric are seeking a Process Engineer with experience in an Electrolyte blending facility.

Base ~$200k + bonus + equity, based in Somerville MA.

Other requirements include experience with:

• Aspen Plus, Pro-Max
• Fluorinated Chemistry - desirable
• Li-ion battery electrolyte production
• Highly proficient with the designing and commissioning pilot chemical production plants, including equipment selection, process flow design, skid-based system design, and piping ISO compliance
• Hands-on experience with electrolyte formulation, blending methods, and process scale-up.
• Analytical techniques such as NMR, GC, GC-MS, ICP-OES, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.
