Job Summary

Process Enigneer/Metallurgist- Full time direct hire opening with a local client near Fort Knox, KY. Our client is looking for a candidate with at least 2 + years worth of manufacturing experience or prior co-op/internship experience related to process metallurgy. Client is offering a base salary + team based production bonus + stock options + return on assest bonuses. Supereme team based work culture.

Responsibilities

The Process Metallurgist will be an integral part of the Engineering team responsible for implementing Operational and Commercial Excellence. Additional responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement area specific practices that drive world-class performance in quality, cost, and productivity.
• Provide technical assistance to the team and customers driving solutions in process improvement, product development, and efficiency.
• Create and facilitate training for the respective area to expand the metallurgy knowledge of the team.
  
  

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within our team; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience level: Experienced
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Education: Bachelors (required)

• Process Metallurgy (2 years of experience is preferred)
• Process Improvement (2 years of experience is preferred)
• Manufacturing experience (2 years of experience is preferred)
