PROCESS ENGINEER – MEDICAL MOLDING

Step into a fast-paced, hands-on engineering role where you’ll directly support molding operations for life-saving medical devices. The company is growing quickly — with plans to double in size over the next two years — and is looking for engineers who want to grow with it.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead day-to-day process support for injection molding, with ~80% of time spent on the floor.
  • Troubleshoot molding issues, support tool changeovers, and lead root cause investigations.
  • Develop and optimize process windows using scientific molding and DOE methodology.
  • Drive Lean and Six Sigma projects focused on reducing scrap and improving efficiency.
  • Own validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) for new tools, presses, and materials.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required (Plastics or Chemical Engineering preferred).
  • 4+ years of hands-on injection molding experience in medical or cleanroom environments.
  • Strong understanding of molding equipment, auxiliary systems, tonnage, and cycle time optimization.
  • Background in scientific molding and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Certifications such as RJG, Paulson, or AIM preferred.
