Job Opportunity: Process Engineer – Energy Transition Projects (LNG/CCUS)

About the Role:

We are looking for passionate and driven energy professionals to join our growing team, delivering innovative Energy Transition Projects (LNG/CCUS) across Asia. You will support early-phase engineering and consultancy projects, including feasibility studies, conceptual design, technical due diligence, and basic engineering services for LNG and CCUS developments.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Leading and supporting feasibility studies, conceptual designs, and basic engineering for LNG regasification, storage, and CCUS projects.
• Developing and reviewing Heat & Material Balances (HMBs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Conducting process simulations and calculations using industry-standard tools.
• Supporting technical due diligence and providing expert input into client presentations and proposals.
• Engaging directly with clients, presenting findings, and contributing to project proposals.

What We Are Looking For:

Education & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering combined with an MBA from a recognized institution.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in process design for LNG projects, particularly in onshore regasification and storage.
• Prior exposure to LNG import terminals and broader energy industry experience is highly desirable.
• Solid grounding in thermodynamics, LNG plant design, and process engineering principles.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with process modeling software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS) for LNG and regasification projects.
• Expertise in the development of Heat & Material Balances (HMBs), PFDs, P&IDs, and process engineering calculations.
• Experience with LNG terminal capacity sizing, safety studies, and impoundment basin calculations.
• Skills in financial modeling, CAPEX/OPEX estimation, and cost analysis for FEED-level projects.
• Strong attention to detail in developing and reviewing technical drawings.

Consulting & Communication Skills:

• Proven ability to prepare high-quality technical reports and feasibility studies in a consultancy environment.
• Confidence in delivering presentations and engaging with clients in a professional and persuasive manner.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work across multidisciplinary teams.
