Job Description
Role Overview:
As a
Process Engineer Injection Molding you will be responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations, introducing new products, troubleshooting process issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Process Engineer collaborates closely with production, tooling, maintenance, and quality, to ensure process stability and compliance with industry standards, especially in highly regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
As a key contributor to our manufacturing success, you will:
- Develop, monitor, and optimize injection molding processes to ensure consistency, quality, and performance.
- Lead process validation and support new product introductions from concept to full-scale production.
- Analyse and troubleshoot process deviations and defects using root cause analysis tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Tooling, Maintenance) to implement improvements and resolve technical issues.
- Define and maintain process parameters and documentation in compliance with GMP and ISO standards.
- Drive continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction, quality enhancement, and cycle time optimization.
Qualifications
- Qualifications & Skills:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
- Work Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a highly automated production environment (preferred).
- Technical and methodological skills:
- Strong knowledge of injection molding machines, tools, and automation systems.
- Hands-on experience with process optimization, troubleshooting, and validation
- Deep understanding of molding machines, tools, automation, and auxiliary equipment
- Analytical thinker with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
