Job Title: Process Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Process Engineer to provide full technical and product support for daily operations in the overhaul and repair of high pressure and low pressure turbine airfoils, including P&W 4000, V2500, PW2000, and F117. The role involves working in a product cell environment alongside a dedicated team to ensure the highest quality standards in all products.
Responsibilities
- Provide full technical and product support to daily operations in the overhaul and repair of turbine airfoils.
- Offer technical expertise on products and process flow.
- Generate technical instructions and design tooling and fixturing.
- Correspond with OEM and customer engineering on technical issues.
- Implement continuous process improvement.
- Work closely with a team to maintain high quality standards.
Essential Skills
- Engineering degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum three years of aero-engine experience, preferably in the overhaul or repair of major airfoil components.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations.
- Experience with CNC machining, laser drilling, laser cladding, plasma spray, and heat treating processes.
- 5-10 years previous experience in aerospace manufacturing.
- Experience with MRO and commercial engines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Outgoing and personable with problem-solving skills.
- Must be a US person or have a permanent resident card.
Work Environment
On-site at a facility in Grand Prairie. This is a long-term contract to hire opportunity in the aerospace and defense industry.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
