Hours Mon – Friday daytime

A genuinely superb & quite unique opportunity to join a market leading business to help setting up and shaping a manufacturing department / plant.

The Job:

• Reporting into the Plant Manager, working closely with the plant leadership team, production, engineering etc
• Help set up the processes and procedures of the plant, oversee and have some input and awareness of the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
• Create and maintain process documents eg work instructions, FMEA, SOPs, risk assessment.
• Assist with training and mentoring instilling a safety culture and a professional, supportive, collaborative and inclusive environment.

The Person:

• Degree or HNC or equivalent in Process, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Willing to do occasional short trips to other European plants (2 – 3 days at a time) for knowledge transfer and training – once or twice per year.
• Good communication, multiple stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills important.
