About The Position

Join our team as a Process Development Engineer and shape the future of powder metallurgy.

We are looking for a talented Process Development Engineer within Quality Control and Prototyping to join our dynamic team at the Customer Development Center (CDC). As part of Höganäs AB's Powder Metallurgy Technologies (PMT), CDC is the link between the company, our application teams and the customers, responsible for component prototyping, pilot production, and process development for powder metal (PM) technologies.

As a process development engineer you will be a part of our innovative projects to enable further growth for our PM materials, not least within electric vehicles. Quality control is an integral part of manufacturing, and we use both a coordinate measurement machine (CMM) and a 3D scanner to be able to deliver powder metal prototyping parts with confidence to our customers and cooperation partners. To shorten lead times and further support development projects you will also machine PM prototype parts from heat treated powder metal blanks using a 5-axis milling machine and various other subtractive manufacturing tools.

Key responsibilities include supporting development projects, providing technical expertise for new applications, and collaborating with departments, customers, and research institutes to meet project goals. You will also be responsible for coaching and motivating team- and project members, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and presenting technical insights for customers and at conferences.

Some travels will be required (up to 15 days per year) to support global projects.

Location is in Höganäs, Sweden.
