RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure proper functionality and tuning of the ICS, APC, PIMS assets of the MATCH plants.
  • Plan and control the ICS, APC and PIMS systems optimization and maintenance.
  • Define the needs and proposal both hardware and software upgrade solutions to successfully implement ICS, APC and PIMS related projects and MOCs.
  • Support the operation team to handle OT system interfaces and functionalities.
  • Update PIMS layouts, data collection and calculations following MOC requests validated by PCE Supervisor.
  • Develop and realize Process Control Optimization based on process inputs from operation teams.
  • Keep the system documentation up to date by initiating update request based on any change triggered by MOCs or projects.
  • Gather ICS, PIMS, APC relevant KBA, OS and system patch, firmware updates and plan associated actions to be performed during plant shutdown periods. Design, implement, maintain, and monitor the ICS PIMS APC networks and systems throughout these areas.
  • Support the PCE supervisor on OT system related topics in order to keep safety, reliability and integrity of the MATCH plants to their maximum.
  • Take the ESHQ responsibilities of the position, following the ‘Roehm ESHQ roles and responsibilities’.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree or above. Major in instrumentation, automation or electrical engineering preferred
  • At least 5 years working experiences in engineering or maintenance services with focuses on Industrial Control systems.
  • Profound knowledge on process control applications.
  • Good knowledge on ICS, PIMS, APC and field instrumentation. Experiences with DeltaV, Aspen IP21 and DMC is preferred.
  • At least basic knowledge of electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge about standards and laws related to the responsible subjects
  • Basic knowledge of chemical process technology and production.
  • Good knowledge with MS Office Applications.
