Job Summary:
The Process Analyst will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, analyzing process data, and supporting operational excellence on the shopfloor. The role requires close monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. A background in Lean Six Sigma methodologies within the food processing industry—especially biscuits and confectionery—is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor production activities on the shopfloor and provide data-driven insights to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Analyze production schedules and machine utilization data to optimize resource allocation and minimize downtime.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and other problem-solving tools.
- Develop, track, and analyze plant KPIs to enhance operational performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for defects, downtimes, and abnormalities; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure preventive maintenance adherence and optimized spare part availability.
- Monitor material consumption variance, machine breakdown trends, and changeover efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hygiene standards, maintaining a zero-spillage environment.
- Support resolution of consumer complaints related to packaging by coordinating with Quality and Production departments.
- Conduct training for line-in charges, supervisors, and staff on process improvements and data-based decision-making.
- Ensure timely execution of actions discussed in review meetings by following up with relevant teams.
- Present analytical findings through data visualization and reporting tools to support operational decisions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through effective communication and collaboration with shopfloor teams.

Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Analytics, Operations Management, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in manufacturing, process improvement, or business analysis, preferably in the food processing industry (biscuits & confectionery).
Understanding of Lean Six Sigma, 7QC tools, and other problem-solving methodologies.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and other reporting tools.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative and drive change.
Experience in FMCG, food processing, or manufacturing industries is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/ Yellow belt certification.
Hands-on experience in shopfloor data collection and real-time analytics.
Ability to conduct training sessions and mentor teams in process improvement techniques.
Benefits
Salary - 4 -5 LPA + Travel Allowance (Base Location)
