Responsibilities:

• Work cooperatively with physicians to develop an appropriate treatment and care plan specific to the patient and their physicians' report
• Assess the environment, especially as it relates to safety
• Identify equipment needs and develop an adaptive plan to improve patient function and independence
• Report patient’s response to treatment or changes in condition to the Director of Nursing and physician
• Prepare clinical and progress summaries as well as discharge planning. Submit documents to Director of Nursing
• Treat patients, family, and staff with courtesy and respect
• Submit accurate and timely documentation
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Graduated from a speech therapy accredited program.
• Pediatric experience required
• Successfully completed a period of supervised fieldwork experience required by the recognized educational institution where the applicant met the academic requirement of the educational program
• State license in Texas
• One (1) years of appropriate experience as a speech therapist
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain patient confidentiality
