We’re partnering with Everest Systems to hire a Principal Software Engineer in Heidelberg (3 days/week onsite). Backed by top-tier investors and led by visionary founders, Everest is redefining ERP with next-gen, AI-powered, cloud-native software for modern mid-sized businesses.

You’ll join a team at the forefront of AI-driven business applications—building an enterprise-grade platform covering everything from quote-to-cash to AI cost management, with embedded AI agents, automated data access, and a fully automated subscription model.

The role💭 :

• Build end-to-end products and features working across different codebases and front-ends.
• Apply cutting-edge AI/LLM technologies to invent and deliver features that delight our customers.
• Deliver and iterate quickly on new product opportunities, driven by usage and engagement.
• Operate as part of a fast-paced team on ambitious new projects.
• Be an active member of a motivated and collaborative engineering team.
• Design, implement, debug, and deliver experiences in TypeScript, Python, Rust, and other languages

What we’re looking for🕵️:

• 4+ years of experience in backend-leaning software engineering (TypeScript, JavaScript (React), Java, or Python)
• Strong understanding of how to incorporate generative AI based products/tools into production
• Experience working directly with OpenAI APIs or implementing open-source LLMs
• Experience building customer‑facing products end‑to‑end
• Working knowledge of business processes and ERP-type applications.
• Fluency in English
