Principal Engineer, Quality & Test

Job Location: Vancouver, BC, CA (Richmond Area)

Job Salary: $113-180k + bonus + stock options (Total compensation is very lucrative due to equity)

Position Overview

The Principal Engineer, Quality & Test is responsible for leading the quality assurance and testing strategies for our enterprise SaaS products. This role focuses on establishing robust testing frameworks and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet customer expectations and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of test automation frameworks for enterprise products.
• Develop and execute quality testing strategies for B2B software and cloud-native products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines for streamlined development processes.
• Ensure scalable testing methodologies are applied throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in quality assurance best practices and test automation techniques.
• Analyze and improve existing testing processes to enhance product quality and reduce time to market.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing, with a focus on enterprise products and SaaS.
• Strong knowledge of test automation architecture and frameworks.
• Experience with cloud-native products and scalable testing solutions.
• Proficiency in CI/CD integration and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
