Job Summary: About the Role and Team: As a Principal, Product Manager at Enterprise Products on Workforce Technology Products, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategies that keep The Walt Disney Company at the forefront of the entertainment industry. This role is essential in ensuring the successful delivery of major internal product launches within Workforce Technology. You will work closely with senior executive leaders at VP and SVP level, leading multidisciplinary product launches with notable risk and complexity. Your product delivery expertise and strategic vision will be crucial in solving unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business. This role requires a collaborative, innovative, and strategic mindset to inspire and adapt to the ever-evolving landscape of HR technology. What You Will Do: * Lead and manage the technical delivery of major internal product launches within Workforce Technology, supporting HR business objectives. * Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through delivery and post-launch optimization. * Identify and address challenges during product rollouts to ensure smooth execution. * Develop and execute strategies for complex, multidisciplinary programs, driving alignment across teams. * Build and nurture strong partnerships with HR, Technology, and other business units to achieve shared goals. * Effectively lead cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and external vendors, to deliver enterprise products. * Manage product delivery budgets exceeding $15M, ensuring fiscal responsibility and value realization. * Proactively identify and mitigate program and product risks, resolving issues to meet timelines and budgets. * Collaborate with the vendor management office to negotiate contracts and ensure high vendor performance. * Solve unique and complex business problems with solutions that drive broad impact. * Mediate between technical teams and HR stakeholders to align priorities and deliver value-driven outcomes. * Communicate complex concepts clearly, persuading senior stakeholders to adopt strategic approaches. * Advocate for critical resources and priorities while balancing competing business demands. * Partner with senior leadership to ensure alignment with organizational strategic goals. * Adapt swiftly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic HR environment. * Drive the successful delivery of high-risk, high-complexity products that contribute to strategic initiatives. Skillset and Qualification Required: Required Skills: * 10 years of experience in product management, with a strong emphasis on product delivery and managing large, multi-million-dollar product budgets. * Proven ability to align product delivery initiatives with HR business goals and overall organizational strategies. * Expertise in developing and executing long-term roadmaps for product development and delivery. * Proficiency in agile methodologies and tools to ensure efficient and adaptive product delivery. * Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a track record of addressing complex challenges. * Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex, large-scale technical programs spanning multiple disciplines. * Excellent communication and persuasion skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment. * Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities to guide complex product delivery for large multi-year initiatives driving high-impact and value for our end customers * Extensive experience collaborating directly with senior executive leaders to achieve business objectives. * Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, fostering strong partnerships across functions with high level of ownership and agency * Innovative and adaptable approach to addressing evolving business and technology needs. * Deep understanding of emerging trends and innovations in HR technology, such as AI-driven recruitment and employee engagement platforms. Preferred Qualifications & Experience: * Familiarity with leading HR platforms, including Workday and SAP SuccessFactors. * Proven experience supporting HR business groups within the entertainment industry. * Deep expertise in workforce technology solutions, driving impactful business outcomes. * Significant experience managing and executing major product launches from inception to delivery. * Advanced certifications in product management, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in the field. Education: * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or a related field * Relevant certifications in product management or related areas #DISNEYTECH The hiring range for this position in California is $167,700.00-$224,900.00 per year and in Washington is $$175,800 - $235,700 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
