We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sr Network Engineer to join our team and support the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level network infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of network architecture, data center operations, and cloud networking, particularly in AWS environments. The ideal candidate will hold CCNA and/or CCNP certifications and bring hands-on experience in network design, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance across hybrid infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and routing solutions across corporate and cloud environments
• Lead and support network infrastructure initiatives, ensuring secure and scalable architectures
• Build and maintain data center infrastructure including switches, routers, cabling, and power systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, provide root cause analysis, and develop preventive measures
• Implement network security protocols in alignment with organizational standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and cloud migrations
• Optimize network performance and monitor traffic using advanced tools and techniques
• Develop and maintain documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures
• Support business continuity planning and disaster recovery efforts
• Provide on-call support as needed for critical network issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• CCNA and/or CCNP certification required
• 6+ years of experience in network engineering, preferably in enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in network design, routing/switching protocols, and firewall configurations
• Hands-on experience with data center infrastructure and cloud networking (AWS preferred)
• Familiarity with tools such as Cisco IOS, Palo Alto, Juniper, Fortinet, or equivalent
• Proficient in using monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, CloudWatch)
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) is a plus (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
