The Network Engineer will be part of a team responsible for maintaining a complex infrastructure. This position will provide an exciting mix of implementing new technologies in addition to maintaining the existing infrastructure Network. Looking for a seasoned Network Engineer with a strong focus on complex IP networking and data center design. The ideal candidate has a passion for creative design and out-of-the-box thinking when it comes to solving challenges. They can work collaboratively across multiple teams to find the right solution or be willing to expand their understanding to get to the right solution.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interpret business objectives and translate into technical requirements for network design and implementation.
• Design/Architect resilient, fault tolerant, network architectures that provide a stable and consistent business experience.
• Design/Architect networks with security best practices and enforcing proper segmentation for various applications and uses.
• Install, configure, deploy, and validate, LAN, WAN, WLAN, and security designs.
• Maintain and operate firewall policies and NAC policies to ensure best practices and proper network segmentation.
• Develop and leverage network automation to drive efficiency and standardization.
• Create and maintain network documentation.
• Configure and maintain network monitoring tools.
• Experience of network engineering in medium to large enterprises
• Experience with routing, switching, wireless, firewall, load balancing, DNS, public and private peering, NAC.
• Experience with the following routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, as well as protocol redistribution and route policies.
• Experience with the following manufacturers: Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Citrix.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving network performance issues.
• Experience or knowledge with Python, Cisco ISE, Panorama, Fortigate Firewalls is a plus.
