Overview: The IT Business Partner (ITBP) has the overall responsibility to serve as the strategic interface with assigned business units or functional areas for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management, and relationship management. The ITBP serves as the business relationship link between business units and IT at the executive level.

What a Day Looks Like

• Align IT and Business Strategy to leverage the organization's IT services, support, training, and oversight.
• Create the technology infrastructure and applications, including server, telecommunications, desktop technology, and end-to-end digital transformation. Use this knowledge to support business stakeholders and technical teams in solution development, requirements identification, and services delivery.
• Drive new operational ideas and collaborate with executive business counterparts.
• Serve as an escalation point, coordinating operational support from both local IT and Enterprise IT teams, through the use and management of cross-functional knowledge and relationships.
• Research emerging technologies to address critical business processes, customer challenges, and strategic planning (STRAP).
• Involve in RFQ, supplier selection, and e-bidding processes.
• Champion change and look to improve processes by systematizing simplicity, agility, and sensible risk-taking.
• Promote learning in others by building relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams in project execution.
• Lead, coach, and develop global, diverse teams to achieve organizational goals and objectives (People Leader role).
