We are working with a mature Start-up Medial Device company that are looking for an Image Processing Expert to join their engineering team. This role focuses on the design and development of advanced image signal pipelines, ensuring optimal image quality and seamless software/hardware system integration for visualization equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop state-of-the-art vision firmware/software image signal pipeline algorithms for endoscopic visualization.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements for image and video quality and translate user feedback into ISP algorithm improvements.
• Organize design reviews to ensure coherent design across hardware, firmware, and software interfaces.
• Complete Design Verification testing, risk management activities, and create relevant documentation.

Qualifications:

• MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Optical Engineering, or related field (PhD strongly preferred)
• 10+ years of related experience in medical device product development and 7+ years in image signal pipeline design.
• Expertise in real-time camera image processing algorithms and familiarity with machine learning-based image processing.
• Advanced knowledge of CMOS image sensor hardware operation and electronic video/control signal interfaces.
• Proficiency in C/C++ (CUDA), Python, MATLAB, and experience in leading external vendors and contract manufacturers.
