ABOUT OneOme
OneOme is a pharmacogenomics (PGx) focused precision medicine company with population health analytics and genetic testing to optimize medications to improve health outcomes and lower healthcare costs. Our analytics identifies high-risk patients in a population most likely to have costly adverse drug reactions and our in-house lab performs genetic testing to generate actionable DNA-guided medication optimization insights for providers. Our solutions help health systems, provider groups, payers, and employers optimize patient health outcomes and reduce costs by facilitating more personalized prescriptions. Our mission is to provide the most cost-effective, comprehensive, personalized, PGx analysis integrated into patients’ everyday clinical care.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Principal, Healthcare Analytics (HCA) role is a key position that will have broad responsibilities to develop and administer OneOme’s predictive analytics models, value-based care (VBC) programs and data analytics capabilities in support of each. OneOme offers a population health management approach to PGx and requires expertise in designing and delivering patient risk profiling and cost of care analyses. Development of analytic models and programs in population health, genomic data analyses, and VBC models to payers, providers, and employers through cost of care savings and health economics / clinical outcomes measures will be a central focus of this role. Expertise at interrogating payer-based medical and pharmacy claims data is required.
The Principal HCA will be responsible for clearly communicating the vision, strategy, goals, and performance results of OneOme’s healthcare analytics programs to senior leaders within the company as well as external clients and/or stakeholders as appropriate. This role will also oversee reporting functions across functional areas and represent the company externally when explaining our analytics methodologies and program results from both clinical outcomes and healthcare economics perspectives.
As a leader of VBC program collaborations, the Principal HCA will have responsibilities for ensuring OneOme's solutions have proven evidence demonstrating clinical utility and positive economic impact. This will be achieved through identifying key scientific collaborators, building collaborative relationships with thought leaders, and driving joint projects that lead to external publications and presentations. As a scientific leader within OneOme, the Principal HCA will have responsibilities for conducting research to evaluate, develop, and implement new analytical techniques, methods, and models to better manage populations through the use of OneOme’s solutions to ensure clinical utility and cost savings are realized. The role will involve analyzing and interpreting data, drawing business inferences, and clearly articulating findings.
Given the diverse nature of this position the Principal HCA must have the ability to develop and manage key partnerships, both internally and externally. They must be comfortable navigating ambiguity and be driven for the development of new innovation and evidence development. This position is critical in development and execution of OneOme's evidence development strategy.
