We are looking for a Product Quality Manager with experience in semiconductor/EDA domain. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the verification and delivery of high-quality Design Systems (Flow & Methodologies and Foundation IP). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RTL2GDSII and/or AMS, or a related field, with a passion for quality management, process optimization and system level verification.
In the New Role You will be Responsible for:
- Verification of all product requirements to ensure compliance with specifications and functional expectations
- Define and implementing a standardized reporting framework for unit, component and system test
- Providing and maintaining the Design System Quality Assurance concept.
- Practicing and driving the use of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methods for identifying the root causes of customer reported defects and a systematic approach to responding to them.
- Auditing the test setups of cross-functional development teams and driving the closure of all identified action items
- Providing and maintaining the Design System Quality Assurance concept.

- Auditing the test setups of cross-functional development teams and driving the closure of all identified action items
- Assessing product flow and development process, identifying improvement opportunities and propose & implement process optimizations to enhance productivity and quality.
- Reporting of product quality metrics, improvement measures and audit reports
- System level qualification the Infineon Design Systems, namely Design Flow (set of tools and methodologies) and Foundation IP’s (std-cell, io, memories, PDK)
- Develop and maintain test plans, test-cases to verify the system level features and requirements developed in various product releases and methodology projects.
- Develop and maintain automated setup for running user acceptance tests (UAT)
- Execute the system level tests, as and when required by the project timelines
- Manage the testcases in a data-management system, for easy retrieval and running of earlier versions
- Propose and implement a standardized system level test-setup, so that subset of tests can be run by other component teams via automation
- Propose and implement test automation ideas to improve the turnaround time of test execution
- Maintain and publish test metrics and KPIs
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A university degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related technical or natural scientific field.
- 15+ years’ experience in CAD flow & methodologies, and/or in RTL2GDSII flow& methodologies.
- Preferably experience in quality management or risk assessment related to product development.
- Rich experience in leading medium size projects on SoC’s / medium size team.
- Know-how on automation tools like Jenkins, Git, DevOps is preferred.
- Knowing industry standard Software/Hardware QA practices & tools is highly desired
- Experience working in multi-site teams.
- Clear verbal and written communication & presentation skill
