Job Description

Eptura is seeking a highly skilled Principal Full-Stack Java Engineer to drive innovation and excellence in our engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development of advanced software solutions that power business success and transform digital experiences. You will be a key technical leader, shaping architectural decisions, mentoring developers, and driving best practices across the stack. If you're a visionary engineer with a passion for tackling complex challenges and pioneering cutting-edge development, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Applications: Design, build, test, and support web applications utilizing Java and related frameworks.
• Backend Mastery: Build and optimize robust backend services, with a preference for experience in Spring MVC and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Database Excellence: Implement and refine SQL-based queries while working with relational databases such as MSSQL and Oracle (preferred).
• Front-End Development: Create interactive and responsive interfaces using JavaScript, with a preference for knowledge in jQuery.
• Collaborative Delivery: Partner with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and designers, to gather requirements and deliver high-quality application features.
• Quality Assurance: Uphold best practices for performance, security, scalability, and overall code quality.
• Troubleshoot Issues: Diagnose and resolve full-stack challenges to ensure seamless application functionality.
• Stay Ahead of Trends: Continuously learn and integrate emerging technologies and development methodologies.

• Proven Expertise: Extensive experience in full-stack Java development, with a deep understanding of enterprise-grade application design.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Track record of leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers to elevate team performance.
• Database Mastery: Strong command of SQL and relational database management, optimizing systems for efficiency and scalability.
• Front-End Fluency: Deep familiarity with JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks, ensuring seamless and engaging user experiences.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to balance hands-on development with high-level architectural decision-making.
• Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional ability to work cross-functionally, translating business needs into elegant technical solutions.
  
  

Preferred Skills & Technologies

• Advanced experience with Spring MVC and Spring Boot
• Expertise in MSSQL and Oracle databases
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Git version control, and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of emerging front-end technologies beyond jQuery
