£75,000 (depending upon level and experience)

West Yorkshire (hybrid working)

YOUR NEW ROLE

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians
• Manage the team's deliverables
• Working to tight deadlines
• Implement temporary works design principles
• Permanent works design standards - creating solutions in timber, steel, reinforced concrete, and proprietary structural systems
• Coordinate with external consultants and third-party checkers
• Engage with clients and project construction teams
• Generate reports and communications for clients
• Lead the design approval process (NR and HE) and collaborate with the internal team on engineering development

MUST HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience in designing underground structures and tunnelling temporary works
• MSC in Civil and Structural Engineering OR Degree in Geotechnical and Mining
• Design consultancy experience
• Chartered status or working towards
• CDM Health and Safety knowledge
• Technical skills in structural design skills
• Skilled in structural design and with a strong understanding of geotechnical principles
• A natural leader, capable of fostering the professional growth of junior engineers

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• Upto £75,000 depending upon experience and skill-set
• Death in Service (4X annual salary)
• Pension (company 5% / 4% employee)
• 31 days annual leave (inc BH)
• Hybrid working
