Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Principal Data Architect to design and architect scalable data storage solutions and pipelines across various data systems such as vehicle data, manufacturing, sales, and finance. This role involves leading architectural decisions, leveraging cutting-edge technologies, and setting technical directions and roadmaps to meet future business needs, primarily within the Automotive industry. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with a team of engineers, providing architectural leadership and ensuring successful execution of big data streaming systems and business data consolidation.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design scalable big data streaming systems and business data consolidation.
• Design IoT systems for vehicle-cloud communication and data movement.
• Utilize technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Spark, MQTT, and Kafka for distributed big data solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, guiding the team in architectural decisions and execution.
• Collaborate on application architecture and develop long-term technical vision and roadmap.
  
  

Must-Have Skills

• Deep expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and S3 Data Lake.
• Proven ability to architect streaming and real-time data pipelines.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with an ability to articulate technical problems and solutions to diverse audiences.
  
  

Industry Experience Required

• Significant experience in the Automotive industry preferred, with a focus on data systems relating to vehicle data, manufacturing, sales, and finance.
