Business Analyst Objective is to review and analyze current and proposed business operations of customers.

This includes activities to review the financial statements, key performance indicators & other key metrics, and then to draft & propose the optimum options for their improvements.

BAs assess the overall effectiveness of a business and its departments to devise solutions to problems.

• Position Summary
  
  

BA performs as a subject matter expert, SME, to support OpenText Professional Services implementations.

They must have the ability to interpret business process requirements and produce technical specifications, project documentation and coordinate development activities with global development teams.

This is a customer-facing role and requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage priorities across multiple projects.

As the lead analyst on projects the Sr. BA also provides overall leadership to the consultation team, consisting of analyst and mapping teams. Sr. BA needs to set priorities, technical direction and to ensure consistent quality deliverables and best practices are followed.

• Key Responsibilities

• Identify and communicate with key stakeholders
• Act as liaison between various business departments and groups
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to define implementation design and functional requirements definition
• Provide leadership to the consultation team, consisting of such teams as mapping and analyst teams, on best practices and OpenText implementation methodologies
• Work on multiple, large, complex projects
• Assist in identifying and resolving issues during unit and customer acceptance testing
• Provide status reports and escalate issues to Project Manager
• Provide consulting services to customers on mapping correlations based on EDI / Electronic Commerce best practices
• Provide consulting services to customers on business application requirements needed to support trading partner EDI / Electronic Commerce requirements
• Gather, review and analyze business and industry data, including KPIs, financial reports and other key metrics using data analytics tools
• Interpret business requirements and produce technical specifications
• Assess options for process improvement, including business process modeling
• Write well-informed, validated requirements and manage requirement changes
• Take advantage of the mgmt. tools for recording, tracking and managing requirements
