The number of our Pega Cloud SaaS and PaaS customers is rapidly growing. We are looking for individuals to help drive this growth by building highly scalable, cutting-edge Cloud Services. As part of this team, you will be working at the nexus of the infrastructure behind Pega Cloud. You will be part of the Applications Deployment Tribe, working on orchestrating the lifecycle of Pega applications in a cloud-native way, utilizing technologies like Golang, Kubernetes, AWS, and GCP. You will be working closely with the platform teams to ensure their needs are met to effectively operate PegaCloud services.

What You'll Do At Pega

• Develop tooling supporting orchestration for thousands of Cloud environments,
• Work daily with Go, Java, AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Docker,
• Work within Scrum, DevOps and MVP frameworks,
• Offer mentorship and advice to help junior engineers grow professionally.

You are an effective communicator and collaborator. Also, you demonstrate initiative and autonomy at work.

You are a passionate developer with enough experience to guide junior colleagues in their work assignments.

You understand DevOps culture well, and you consider yourself to be a technically versatile person.

You bring good practices around design patterns with you, which you can leverage to support our Pega Cloud with our "as-a-Service" evolution.

What You've Accomplished

• 6+ years of experience in software designing and development,
• Strong knowledge of Golang, Java, or Pega apps development,
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud, GCP, or similar,
• Understanding of Micro-Services and Stateless Architecture,
• Very good command of English.
  
  

It will be great, but not required if you have:

• Ability to design a microservices-based architecture leveraging Cloud-native design patterns and serverless frameworks, with emphasis on scalability and HA,
• Experience in Cloud technologies with multi-cloud perspective,
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as a Code (Helm/Terraform/Cloudformation),
• Knowledge and experience in Docker and Kubernetes (having CKAD certification is a plus),
• Experience with Business Process Modelling (e.g. BPMN),
• Hands-on experience with DevOps automation and pipeline tools,
• DevOps + Agile + MVP methodologies.
