Job Description

The Oracle ERP Cloud Development Team is seeking a skilled Principal Application Developer based in Manila, Philippines. In this role, you will focus on ensuring customer success and sustainability of key financial modules within Oracle ERP Cloud. You will be responsible for independently resolving critical functional and performance issues for global customers, as well as providing technical leadership, guidance, and support to junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Java/J2EE development or Oracle DB PL/SQL programming.
• Experience with Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in code versioning tools like Git, Mercurial, or Subversion.
• Strong understanding of Agile software development practices.
• Knowledge of ERP/financial systems is a significant plus.
• Excellent technical design, programming, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and products.
• Demonstrated teamwork, self-motivation, customer focus, and results-driven mindset.
• Flexibility to address critical customer issues outside of regular business hours.

Responsibilities

As a member of ERP Cloud product development division, you will

• Develop and maintain ERP Cloud financial products using Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) and PL/SQL.
• Collaborate with support and customers to troubleshoot and resolve complex customer defects.
• Produce high-quality technical designs and code.
• Develop automated unit and functional test cases.
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
