Prime Contract Manager – Washington DC, USA

Linum Consult’s client is a major player in the international construction and infrastructure sector, currently seeking a Prime Contract Manager with a strong background in infrastructure projects to join their team on a prestigious civil engineering project in Washington DC.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading the commercial and contractual strategy across all project phases
• Managing the contract price re-evaluation, ensuring alignment with technical and operational requirements
• Handling any contractual disputes
• Managing the cost-plus payment structure, ensuring clear and justified cost allocations
• Operating within a highly demanding, technically challenging environment on a major infrastructure project
• Coordinating with project partners and other external stakeholders

PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering, with an additional Masters as a plus
• Extensive experience in commercial and contract management on large-scale infrastructure and civil engineering projects
• Expertise in contractual negotiations, claims, and dispute resolution
• Experience working with cost-plus contract structures
• Quantity Surveying (QS) background is highly desirable
• Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
