Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing presses, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to production schedules. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of print processes, including prepress and color management. If you have experience in operating a web press (wet offset or rubber) we encourage you to apply. The schedule is 7am to 3:30pm Monday thru Friday no weekends, Full time 40 hrs a week. Duties Operate various types of printing presses, ensuring optimal performance and quality. Set up press equipment according to job specifications, including ink mixing and color adjustments. Monitor the printing process to maintain quality standards, making adjustments as necessary. Perform routine maintenance on press equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency. Collaborate with the prepress team to prepare layouts Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the printing process, implementing solutions promptly. Maintain accurate records of production runs, including materials used and job completion times. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies throughout the production process. Requirements Proven experience as a Press Operator or in a similar role within the printing industry. Strong knowledge of prepress processes, color management, and layout. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on quality assurance. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
