We are seeking a passionate, patient, and creative Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team! This role is ideal for someone who loves working with young children and is committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children ages 3 to 5.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes exploration, learning, and social interaction
Guide children in developing basic skills and support social-emotional development
Observe, assess, and document each child’s progress and development
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets state and licensing requirements
Support positive behavior guidance
Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administrators to support a cohesive learning environment
Qualifications
Have a minimum of a valid California Associate Teacher permit.
Minimum one year of center based care experience
Understands rationale and procedure for child abuse reporting as mandated by state law and the responsibility for action as a mandated reporter
Must be certified in Pediatric CPR and First Aid
