Roles and Responsibilities:

Customer needs analysis:

• Deeply understanding a potential client's business challenges, pain points, and desired outcomes to identify the most suitable solution.
• Solution design and architecture:
• Developing a customized solution that addresses customer needs, including system architecture, integration points, and potential implementation strategies.

RFP response and proposal creation:

• Leading the technical response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), drafting detailed proposals outlining the proposed solution and its value proposition.
• Technical presentations and demonstrations:
• Delivering compelling presentations and product demos to showcase the solution's capabilities and address customer concerns.
• Proof-of-concept development:
• Creating prototypes or proof-of-concept demonstrations to validate the solution's feasibility and address technical uncertainties.

Pricing and costing analysis:

• Collaborating with sales teams to develop accurate pricing models and assess the financial viability of proposed solutions.
• Technical expertise:
• Maintaining in-depth knowledge of the company's products, services, and technology landscape to effectively answer customer questions and address technical objections.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• 10 – 15yrs of total experience.
• Very Good communication skills and should have played Customer facing roles.
• Proven experience as architect and engineering lead in Data & Analytics stream In-depth understanding of data structure principles, data platforms, new-gen Data Architecture with latest offerings from various cloud providers like AWS, GCP and Azure. Working experience on Modern Data Platforms which involves Cloud & related technologies, serverless offerings/services, Graph databases, Virtualization etc.
• Problem-solving attitude, solution mindset with implementation expertise
• Well-versed with the E2E Data Management philosophies and Data Governance processes.
• Mandatory : 10+ years of experience in the Data Engineering space with at least few complex & high volume data projects as an architect.
• Has pre-sales experience and led and contributed towards the data solutions within RFP/RFI/RFQ.Creative problem-solver with strong communication skills
• Excellent understanding of traditional, distributed and next-gen (modern) computing paradigm.
• Should have excellent knowledge in data warehouse / data lake technology and business intelligence concepts.
• Should have good knowledge in Relational, No-SQL, Big Data Databases and should be able to write complex SQL queries.
• Should have strong implementation experience in all the below technology areas (breadth) and deep technical expertise in some of the below technologies:
• Data integration – ETL tools like Talend and Informatica. Ingestion mechanism like Flume & Kafka
• Data modelling – Dimensional & transactional modelling using RDBMS, NO-SQL and Big Data technologies. Experience in Snowflake modelling would be an advantage
• Data visualization – Tools like Tableau
• Master data management (MDM) – Concepts and expertise in tools like Informatica & Talend MDM
• Big data – Hadoop eco-system, Distributions like Cloudera / Hortonworks, Pig and HIVE
• Data processing frameworks – Spark & Spark streaming
• Hands-on experience with multiple databases like PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL Server, NOSQL (HBase / Cassandra, MongoDB), is required
• Knowledge of various data modelling techniques and should be hands on with data modelling tools like ERWin, TOAD, PowerDesigner, etc.
• Experience in cloud data eco-system - AWS, Azure or GCP
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Good understanding of the data eco-system, both current and future data trends
• Hands on experience in tools and technologies
• Experience in Solutioning and Effort estimation
• Open to short period travel (a week to 15 days ) for war room and defense presentations.
