Basic Functions:

• Strong customer focus, ability to manage project requirements and customer expectations appropriately.
• Ability to understand customer needs and pain points clearly from both business and technical perspectives.
• Gather and evaluate customer environments with the help of technical tools to build and design new solution architectures.
• Designing solution architectures for GlassHouse Cloud solutions and managed services to meet the customers' business requirements
• Providing technical presentation of solution architecture to the technical teams and C-level of customers.
• Assisting sales team members in closing Cloud sales deals by technically convincing customers to the GlassHouse Cloud solutions and Managed services.
• Having knowledge of local Cloud Provider and also Hyperscaler market and helping Account Sales teams by conducting competitive analysis.
• Partnering effectively within the Account Sales team to ensure problem resolution and customer satisfaction.

Technical Expertise:

• Understanding of large enterprise IT environments and experience in designing end-to-end cloud journeys, including on-premises to cloud migrations
• Intermediate knowledge of virtualization technologies, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS concepts
• Basic knowledge of container architectures and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Rancher, Openshift etc.
• Basic knowledge of IaC (Infrastructure as Code)
• Intermediate knowledge of security and compliance solutions such as Firewalls, WAF-LB, EDR, SIEM, IAM, PAM, HSM
• Basic knowledge of network design and protocols
• Intermediate knowledge of at least one backup and/or replication tool such as Dell Data Protection Suits, Zerto, Veeam, Carbonite, etc
• Basic understanding of at least one relational database such as MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle SQL, PostgreSQL
• Intermediate knowledge of traditional and hyperconverged infrastructures
• Preferably, mediocre experience with at least one of the public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Willingness to learn SAP environments

Qualifications:

• University Degree from a reputable university in engineering
• Minimum 5 years of Presales experience in a similar role
• Previous experience in solutions sales and to have sales quota or target
• Has excellent written & verbal communication skills in Turkish and intermediary level in English
• Proven ability to achieve results working with complex and dynamic organizations, both internally and externally
• Proven presentation and consultative skills
• Having negotiator approach - can reach appropriate resolution in many varied situations without damaging internal or external relationships
