Job Summary:

Databytes Consulting Technologies Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Technician – Audio-Video Conferencing Systems to support our sales and technical teams. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and demonstrating AV and Video Conferencing solutions, including hardware and software components. They should also be skilled in client consultation, solution presentations, and technical support to drive sales and project implementation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Pre-Sales & Solution Designing:

• Understand client requirements and design custom AV conferencing solutions tailored to their business needs.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) sessions for potential clients.
• Prepare detailed Bill of Materials (BoM), technical proposals, and solution documentation.
• Work closely with the sales team to provide pre-sales technical support and assist in closing deals.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging AV technologies, and vendor solutions to recommend the best-fit solutions.

Technical Expertise & System Design:

• Strong knowledge of audio-video conferencing hardware and software solutions, including:
• AV Conferencing Systems: Poly, Cisco Webex, Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Logitech, AVer, Crestron, Biamp, etc.
• Display Solutions: LED walls, projectors, interactive displays, and multi-screen setups.
• Audio Systems: Speakers, microphones, DSPs (Digital Signal Processors), and room acoustics optimization.
• Video Equipment: PTZ cameras, matrix switchers, extenders, and AV-over-IP solutions.
• Control Systems: Crestron, Extron, AMX, and other automation platforms.
• Networking & Cabling: AV over IP, HDMI, HDBaseT, fiber optics, PoE, and structured cabling.
• Ability to design and integrate AV conferencing systems into enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Conduct site surveys, assess technical feasibility, and recommend optimal AV solutions.

Collaboration & Support:

• Work with internal teams including sales, project management, IT support, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist in RFPs, RFQs, tenders, and provide technical inputs for procurement.
• Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for solution updates, pricing, and technical guidance.
• Provide post-sales support and troubleshooting guidance to ensure client satisfaction.
• Train customers and internal teams on best practices for AV system usage and maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in AV pre-sales, solution designing, and implementation.
• Strong expertise in audio-video conferencing technologies, control systems, and AV networking.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco Webex, and other enterprise AV solutions.
• Proficiency in AV system design tools, AutoCAD, or Visio for schematic drawings.
• Understanding of AV networking protocols, IP-based AV systems, and cloud-based conferencing solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with clients and technical teams.
• Certifications in AVIXA CTS, Crestron, Cisco, Poly, or Extron would be an advantage.
• Ability to troubleshoot AV issues, conduct testing, and support post-deployment.
