Description:
We are looking for a Pre-Sales technical engineer for Italy to enlarge our current team, reporting to the Country Manager and to the HQ PM.
As a pre-sales engineer you will have to support the sales network in generating commercial offers and the related complex technical specifications, you will therefore be the point of reference who will offer technical advice to customers.
You will also have to design and create technical presentations aimed at training the sales force and prepare the specific tools and documents to support this activity.
Prepare reports relating to your activity for management.
Support consumers in choosing products that fully satisfy their needs.
Collaborates with the Marketing and Commercial department.
Assist the Testing department to ensure that the final product reflects the established quality and safety standards.
You will have to support customers in the initial stages of selecting and purchasing the company's products. Support consumers in identifying which products are best suited to their needs, offering advice and collecting information, so as to facilitate sales in subsequent sales activities and guarantee customer satisfaction.
You will be providing technical assistance and support to the Sales Department as well as Product Management concerning the following duties and responsibilities:
The successful candidate must be a self-motivated team player with strong communication skills.
You must be able to work independently, set goals and stay on task with little daily supervision.
You must possess the ability to relate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel and be able to interact with mid and upper level management.
Approximately 10% of your time will involve required travel to Domestic or International sites for technical training.
CANDIDATE'S PROFILE
* Middle education level (MBO) specializing in the field of IT Networking
* Must have an excellent knowledge of MS Office programs
* Fluency in spoken and written Italian and English
* Experience in training
* At least 3+ years experience in networks industry
* Familiar with local VAD/SIs/VARs/Resellers and markets in Italy
* Experience in other WiFi / Networking brands
* Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
* Customer-oriented, self-driven, motivated, competitive and result-oriented
* Ability to manage complex selling and to achieve targets
* Ability to influence and communicate at all levels
