Role Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Pre-Sales Engineer – Enterprise Systems with a strong background in servers, storage, backup, cloud, and operating systems. You will collaborate closely with our sales teams to understand client requirements and demonstrate how our infrastructure solutions can effectively address their IT needs. Your role will be key in crafting technical proposals and delivering impactful solution presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to prospective clients, assessing their enterprise systems and infrastructure needs.
• Deliver solution demonstrations, presentations, and infrastructure-focused workshops.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop customized proposals and solution architectures.
• Assist with RFP responses, BOQ preparation, and system/infrastructure solution design.
• Provide expert guidance throughout the sales cycle—from requirement gathering to solution closure.
• Stay updated on enterprise technology trends including computing platforms, virtualization, storage management, cloud platforms, operating systems and data protection.
• Engage with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless solution alignment and delivery.
• Support post-sales teams in deployment planning and knowledge transfer, as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of experience in pre-sales or technical consulting in enterprise systems/infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of:
• Computing platforms (Cisco, HPE, DellEMC, Lenovo)
• Storage solutions (SAN, NAS, DAS)
• Backup technologies (Veeam, Veritas, etc.)
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, VMware, Hyper-V)
• Windows & Linux operating systems
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to clearly translate technical capabilities into business value.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, AWS, Veeam, or vendor-specific certifications) are a plus.
