Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of Hayward Animal Clinic. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and organizational skills, with a background in veterinary or healthcare management. This role is essential in ensuring operational excellence, a positive team culture, and outstanding client service.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Provide effective leadership to clinical and administrative staff.
- Promote a positive, collaborative work environment and support team development.
- Manage scheduling, staffing, and performance evaluations.
Operations & Business Management
- Oversee daily operations of the clinic to ensure efficiency and adherence to protocols.
- Monitor and manage financial performance including budgeting, payroll, and expense control.
- Maintain inventory and vendor relationships to support practice needs.
Client Service & Communication
- Ensure a high standard of customer service and client communication.
- Address client concerns professionally and support resolution of issues.
- Promote client education and engagement in pet care.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with all veterinary and workplace regulations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized facility for staff, clients, and patients.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in veterinary, healthcare, or business management.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, scheduling, and HR processes.
- Experience with veterinary practice software is preferred.
Requirements
- Management experience is preferred.

Salary: $66,560-$80,000/annually BOE
