Practice Manager – Platform Engineering

Permanent Role | Auckland CBD | Hybrid Working (2–3 Days WFH)

Salary: $180,000 – $190,000 per annum

What’s the opportunity?

You’ll be leading a diverse team of 20–30 platform engineers, with responsibilities across technologies like SAP, Salesforce, Mulesoft, database administration, ServiceNow, and EUC. Your focus will be squarely on the people, the practice, and the long game — evolving capability, uplifting standards, and embedding a culture of excellence.

Who we’re looking for:

• Degree-qualified in Computer Science, IT or a related field (or have equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years’ proven leadership experience in a Practice Manager (or similar) role, leading teams of 20+ engineers.
• A strong grasp of platform engineering across SAP, Salesforce, Mulesoft, DBA, ServiceNow, and EUC.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills — someone who can engage hearts and minds.
• A natural leader — calm, strategic, and quietly confident in driving performance and capability uplift.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills — with an eye always on the bigger picture.
