Practice Administrator
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Practice Administrator will be responsible for the overall administration of the surgery center. The Practice Administrator will assist with the day-to-day operations and management of Mirage Cosmetic Surgery including anticipating patient volume, monitoring patient chart flow, monitoring staff productivity, coaching and counseling of staff, monitoring budget and handling finances, and managing schedules.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include the following, and other duties may be assigned:
Supervises, orients, trains, evaluates and monitors on-the-job performance of the administration team, using positive reinforcement and recognition; ensures staff members adhere to all established policies and procedures related to the patient care, call center, front desk business operations and continuously monitors compliance.
Assists with planning, organizing, and scheduling to accommodate daily expected volumes; monitors patient flow and communicates any issues to senior leadership. Provides needed coverage to other areas, as volumes dictate. Ability to interact with staff in a team environment.
Manages staff & performance including supervising/coaching all employees daily.
Reviews the practice’s policies and procedures to make recommendations for continued compliance/current regulations and interpret policies/procedures to employees, patients, family members, etc.
Ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations
Identifies and recommends process changes that will improve overall performance and efficiency of the division process.
Schedules follow-up appointments as indicated by the medical staff adhering to Patient Appointments Policies and Procedures.
Identifies strategy for growth and executes plans to achieve growth goals.
Problem resolution for escalated issues
Schedule and coordinate meetings as needed
Overseeing financial reports
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree, required.
2-year minimum experience in the related industry-based environment, required.
2-year minimum supervisory experience, required.
Knowledge of common medical language relating to plastic surgery, preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to coach and counsel employees in a professional manner.
Strong written communication skills and the ability to write clearly and informatively.
Excellent oral communication skills and the ability to speak clearly and effectively to employees and external clients.
Skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications to include Microsoft Office, email and intranet.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Ability to report daily to office for work
