PR Manager

Your Responsibilities
This position is responsible for the development and implementation of PR and media strategy, building and protecting a favorable reputation and ensuring effective media coverage for BSH and its brands in Region North America, encompassing the U.S., Canada and Mexico. This position is responsible for the management of PR agency activities supporting brand PR and corporate communications strategies. This position assists the Head of Corporate Communications & Governmental Affairs in all activities related to corporate, brand and product PR and coordinates closely with regional and global internal BSH departments, external Bosch divisions and external agencies.
- Manage PR programs as directed by the Head of Corporate Communications & Governmental Affairs in support of overall PR, media and marketing strategies for campaigns, ongoing programs, and real-time events to increase brand awareness, strengthen brand identity, and ensure messaging aligns with BSH's strategy in North America (U.S., Canada, Mexico).
- Plan and implement integrated PR strategies in collaboration with BSH brand teams, product marketing, business units, showrooms, digital teams and other departments. Manage PR agency activities in support of developed strategies. Work closely with PR agency to execute PR activities.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with national, regional and business and trade outlets, journalists, analysts and influencers/"hybrid media/creators", fostering opportunities for impactful storytelling and brand advocacy, while amplifying presence and messaging across platforms. Field media inquiries, pitch stories, further develop media monitoring and reporting, maintain media databases (primary focus on the U.S. market). Prepare media activity summary and KPI tracking and reports, evaluate and implement new media relations strategies and tools.
- Organize, plan and execute PR events including media events, press conferences, promotional events and brand PR related events ensuring success of PR event programs. Manage tradeshow PR activity preparation and execution. Responsible for on-site PR logistics.
- Plan and develop PR materials including press releases, FAQs, speeches, white papers, briefing books, PR assets and other materials as required. Manage media material version control and maintain material archive and library.
- Assist Head of Corporate Communications & Governmental Affairs with testing agency consumer reviews as directed. Responsible for monitoring, tracking and reporting of consumer reviews metrics.
- Align with Social Media Officer on integrated PR & social media programs in support of brand marketing and PR initiatives.
- Assist Head of Corporate Communications & Governmental Affairs with issues and crisis management as directed.
- Manage and administer special projects and/or duties as required.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree (Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing/Business, English or related field) – Required
- Master's Degree (Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing/Business, English or related field) – Preferred
- 5-7 Years of Experience (Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Brand & Product PR, Issues Management) – Required
- Proven track record in integrated PR, ideally in a global, multi-brand company, with a focus in corporate communications and/or brand & product PR (experience with premium and luxury brands is preferred).
- Demonstrated media relations and PR writing expertise (AP Style proficiency strongly preferred), incl. drafting press releases, pitching stories, building relationships with journalists, and familiarity in engaging media-creator hybrids.
- Experience supporting product launches and brand campaigns, especially in consumer goods, appliances, or related industries. Experience with cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficient in PR measurement (experience working with industry platforms/tools) and demonstrating results.
- Experience with PR media management and analytics database tools – such as Cision/CisionOne, Brand Watch, Muck Rack, Business Wire, Melt Water, TVEyes, Adobe, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in developing strong relationships and working in local, regional and global, cross-function teams. Must display strong team orientation and promote team culture.
- Positive and professional approach to management, colleagues, external agency interfaces and projects.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, demonstrated experience writing press releases, articles, speeches and presentations.
- Ability to work in high-stress environment, often for long hours.

Your Pay & Benefits
The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
