As a PR & Content Manager at Tarjama&, you will be responsible for managing and amplifying the company's public image through media relations, thought leadership, and engaging content. You will develop and execute PR strategies, write impactful press releases, build and nurture relationships with key media outlets, and craft content that elevates both the company's brand and the personal brand of key executives. You will work cross-functionally with leadership, marketing, and subject matter experts to create content that positions Tarjama& as a thought leader in our space.
Duties & Responsibilities
Public Relations & Media Outreach
Develop and implement a comprehensive PR strategy aligned with Tarjama&'s business goals and brand values.
Write, distribute, and follow up on press releases, media kits, and key announcements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and media outlets across relevant regions.
Monitor media coverage and provide timely reporting and insights to stakeholders.
Coordinate interviews, media appearances, and event participation for company spokespeople.
Personal Branding for Key Executives
Develop and implement personal branding strategies that highlight the expertise and unique perspectives of Tarjama's key executives, enhancing their visibility and influence within the industry.
Create LinkedIn posts, bylined articles, quotes, and talking points for public speaking engagements, panels, and interviews.
Ensure consistent tone, voice, and messaging across all personal branding content and platforms.
Content Strategy & Creation
Develop a robust editorial calendar that supports marketing, brand, and communications objectives.
Write and edit high-quality content, including blogs, articles, opinion pieces, newsletters, and speeches.
Optimize written content for SEO, engagement, and thought leadership.
Brand Storytelling & Positioning
Ensure consistent and cohesive brand messaging across all PR and content touchpoints.
Collaborate with internal teams to source stories, gather insights, and craft engaging narratives.
Highlight the company's impact, values, and unique differentiators through storytelling.
Identify opportunities to feature Tarjama& in relevant industry discussions, publications, and media channels.
Monitoring & Reporting
Track PR and content KPIs, including media impressions, share of voice, engagement, and content performance.
Provide regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
Monitor public sentiment and industry trends to inform proactive and reactive communication strategies.
Education, Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
At least 7 years of experience in PR, content creation, or corporate communications, preferably in a tech-driven environment.
Proven track record in securing media coverage and managing press relations.
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills in both English and Arabic.
Strong understanding of media landscapes in the MENA region.
Experience with executive communication and personal branding.
Ability to craft strategic narratives and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using media monitoring and PR tools (e.g., Meltwater, Cision, Google Alerts).
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Experience working with leadership teams and C-level executives.
Background in localization, language, tech, or SaaS industries is a plus.
Comfortable working cross-functionally and independently.
Knowledge of SEO, content analytics, and digital publishing platforms.
