Summary

Role Summary

We are looking for a Power Platform Architect to assist our partner’s end client in upgrading their existing interface with a modern Power Application. The successful candidate will take full ownership of the requirements, design the overall solution architecture, collaborate closely with the existing technical team to develop the application, and present the final solution to the broader program team. This role requires strong technical leadership, architectural design skills, and effective stakeholder engagement.


Contract Summary

  • Rate: Based on experience
  • Duration: 6 months, with the potential to extend or transition into a permanent role
  • Work Model: Hybrid (1 week on-site in Tasmania, 1 week work from home)
  • Location: Work from home & Tasmania (on-site fortnightly)


Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the full lifecycle of the Power Application development, from requirements gathering through to design, implementation, and presentation.
  • Architect scalable and sustainable solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Work closely with the existing technical team to ensure a collaborative and effective development process.
  • Engage with program stakeholders to understand business needs and present solutions effectively.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and best practices for Power Platform projects.
  • Ensure the application aligns with the client’s broader enterprise architecture and technology roadmap.


Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Power Platform Architect with expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Strong background in solution architecture, application design, and system integration.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and deliverables.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present technical solutions clearly to business and program stakeholders.
  • Collaborative and proactive approach to working with technical teams.
  • Previous experience working in a hybrid onsite/remote model, with the ability to travel to Tasmania on a fortnightly basis.
