Power Electronics Engineer
Design, test, and validate inverter and converter power electronics, control systems, and various aux. components for traction / propulsion / etc applications ( railway rolling stock, light rail vehicles, etc )
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE)
Several years of relevant full time experience
Experience with design of high power electronics, converters (AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC), three-phase motors, switching devices, Si/SiC MOSFET, IGBT, etc
MATLAB, Simulink, LTSpice/QSpice, etc
Screening Questions
Do you have hands on experience in architecting/designing and controlling inverters, AC-DC, DC-AC, DC-DC converters ?
Do you have experiencing sizing switching devices and filter components ?
Do you have experience in comparing, analyzing, understanding and controlling the characteristics and performance of silicon vs silicon carbide switching devices for applications mentioned in question #1 ?
