Role: Power BI Developer

Location: Chennai (Hybrid)

Job Type- Full Time

• Design and develop end-to-end business intelligence solutions using Power BI stack.
• Define data models, metrics, and KPIs for reporting and analytics.
• Define, design, and optimize scalable multidimensional and tabular data models to support interactive analytics and reporting.
• Proficient in DAX, Power Query, SQL, and graphical design of Power BI presentation layer to create and design intuitive and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI to enable data-driven decisions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and tune BI solutions (reports, cubes, and semantic models) to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Experience defining BI framework models, semantic layers, and Metadata repositories to support Data governance and administration.
• Reporting Tools Expertise: Develop reports using various reporting tools.
• Cloud Technology Utilization: Leverage cloud platforms for data engineering solutions.
• Familiarity with Kafka: Experience with Kafka for real-time data processing and streaming.
• CI/CD Implementation: Implement and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes A problem solver, open to learning.
• Should have experience in troubleshooting, optimizing, solutioning and keeping up with evolving technologies - as a leading member of the team.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in BI, Big data, Cloud, AI/ML
• ETL and Data Pipeline Development: Proficient in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, tools, and developing data pipelines.
• Banking Data Expertise: Utilize knowledge of banking data for relevant data engineering tasks.
• Production Support Coordination: Coordinate and support data engineering solutions in a production environment.
• Apply Development Best Practices: Implement best practices in code review and change management, including proficient use of GIT for version control.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge sharing activities to foster innovation and continuous improvement.
• Working in Agile Environments: Experience with Agile methodologies and practices.
• Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills to solve problems and troubleshoot issues.
